Frequently Asked Questions

  • Typically, the average shoot takes roughly 1.5 hours. This obviously can change based on the services required and the size of the property.

  • Our team will meet you, the realtor or the property representative at the arranged location and will take 5-20 minutes to setup depending on the project.

    • Please ensure that the location is safe and all hazards are reasonably addressed. Our photographers will conduct a Health and Safety check once they have arrived at your location in accordance with our company policies and will notify you of any issues that could pose a risk.

    • Where possible, we would kindly ask that the homeowner not be present during the shoot.

    • Please ensure all animals or pets are removed or hidden.

    • For residential shoots, please ensure the location is tidy and clean, and staged as required. Our team will not be responsible for moving or relocating anything on that day. Any delays as the result of any staging requirements could result in a longer shooting process and could increase the cost to you.

  • We love our furry friends and critters, but for the safety of everyone we would kindly ask that they are kept away from our team during that day. We will not be responsible for handling or addressing any animal-related issues during our time. If this is not addressed in advance of our arrival we will cancel the shoot and you will be invoiced for our time at the location.

  • We're sorry to hear that! We pride ourselves on our work and always try to deliver the product you want. Please reach out to our team directly with your concerns and we will work with you to issue a refund where we can.

  • The short answer: yes. However, we try to eliminate the need for reshoots to the greatest extent possible and are typically only reserved for specific cases - we try to not make a habit of having any reshoots. These specific cases could be, but not be limited to the following:

    • Failure to capture a specifically requested scene.

    • Loss of photo or video captures (ie. memory card failure or corruption, theft).

    • Severe weather (See our FAQ for bad weather).

  • Our pilots will review the location prior to any shooting and will inform you of any restrictions. All of our pilots will abide by all Transport Canada regulations and are up-to-date on the latest requirements. To learn more please refer to the Transport Canada official website here.

  • We will shoot rain or shine; however, we may not provide the full package of services requested. We will inform you once we have arrived at the location if we can or cannot complete a specific part of the shoot; you will NOT be charged for the omitted part. For example, if there are strong winds that would prevent our drone from flying, the invoice you receive would not include the drone service and you would be charged a reduced amount as a result.

Note that in severe weather events that would pose a risk to the health and safety of our people or to others, we will cancel the shoot and arrange for another date.

  • We'd love to hear about your idea! Please reach out to us and we can start the conversation. We can't guarantee we can make it happen, but we will listen to you during our initial consultation and let you know if we can help you.
